Sunny Sunday

I needed some at-home time this weekend. Sunday was the perfect day to stay in, hang out, and work on jewelry. I couldn't get enough of the sunshine that was filling our place. The early evening light begged for a stroll, so I did leave home for a bit.

A little sulu-design shop update is in the works.

While reading your post I started singing (in my head) The Velvet Underground's "Sunday Morning."

p.s. got an e-mail from my mom, she went shopping for red shoes (the shoes I found are SO her) + settled on tan. So I slipped, but for a reason. Feeling much better about the situation.

Wow--beautiful light in your place! Love the photos, particularly the orange/green door/bush one.

That sounds exactly like my Saturday! Sunday...it ended up raining a bit that day, making me very glad I'd been active in the morning...

You take amazing pics!

Today is my day to sit and do jewellery. Ahhhhhh....

I have painted the one bust a matte black, but will have to clear coat it. It looks sharp! Thanks for the suggestion! The other will be a cream colour. I'll post later this week. Let me know your thoughts.

Can I come over and curl up on a Bertoia in that sun? It isn't so much the sun, it's the lack of clutter, paper, and dog beds. I promise I'll bring tea for the afternoon and scotch for the evening.
