Old School?

A certain mall store, which shall remain nameless to protect the innocent shoppers who get sucked in every now and then, has come out with a line of clothes with a tag that reads "Heritage: 1981." Sheesh. '81? Heritage? Yikes. Continuing with this exaggerated sense of time's passing, I've been working on a bunch of earrings that I'm referring to as my old school collection, as they make use of colors, shapes, and textures (hello, faceted) that I used all the time when I was making earrings back in New York. Remember, like, eleven months ago?

These throwbacks are available in the sulu-design etsy shop.
Happy day to you, friends!

Oooh I love these - especially the combinations with brown! Ok, who am I kidding?? I love them ALL!

And since when did 1981 become ancient time? Makes me think of my neighbor saying - "Yeah, 1987 was like ages ago! I wasn't even born yet!" As I hide my high school yearbook...

Heritage from the 80's!?!?! Oh crap. We are indeed in trouble aren't we? Then again, with the upcoming 20 year celebration of my graduation from high school (ahem) I've been feelin' it...

1981?

Heritage?

really?

sigh.

I remember 1981...I hope that doesn't make me old school. well, I wouldn't want to go back to my 20's anyway, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

such pretty earrings!

Anything that is more than 20 years old is considered Vintage. Hahahaha... I dont know about Heritage though.

As always, your earrings are an inspiration. :*)

Hi, long time! I love these earrings! You always find the coolest beads. I wonder if you happen to have any that are light bulbs? I am looking for a pair of light bulb earrings and no one makes cooler designs than you!

the light blue with red, the light blue with black: two of my favorite color combos. And why anyone would want to remember 80s fashion fondly is beyond me.

I love your designs! I am new to blogging, but I have been making jewelry for a few years. I am very interested in selling my designs.

I was wondering how you started selling jewelry. And once a person begins to sell jewelry, how do they market it?
