With my sweet parents back in Cleveland safe and sound after a wonderful visit here in Portland, I've been busy with preparations for the arrival of my soon-to-visit in-laws. I've got a few things to tell you, but I'll have to save them for a day when I've got more time. Until then...

... a quick splash of the pieces I put in my etsy shop last week (some of the big brass leaf earrings and a resin oval necklace have been restocked, too). Click on photos for links to their listings. I promise to be back here soon. Hope all is well with you!

Oh Suzy, am really responding to YOur previous blog! I still have my copy of All Quiet on the Western Front and recently recommended it to your brother. The story is so compelling and there is one scene that has stayed with me all these years of a mother and her baby. Don't want to spoil it for you but hope you have the time to read it.

Also thought your grout was so clean because of a special finish on it - so now I want to know what you used so that I can buy it too!!Wish I could also buy your elbow grease!

You and Barry gave us a wonderful sight-seeing tour of Portland, along with excellent restaurant choices! You were an amazing and awesome hostess as was Barry a host and we loved every minute of our stay with you! Love always, Mom

Sounds like your mum and dad had a lovely visit. But how could they not? They were visiting YOU ;)

Enjoy your upcoming visit with your in-laws. Being the hostess with the mostest, they are sure to have a wonderful time as well!

Hey - did you do your half-marathon yet? If not, best of luck!
