If I could fold up Jen Judd-McGee of Swallowfield and put her in my pocket so I could take her and her astounding drawing/design/collage talent with me wherever I went, I would. But since I can't, I'll have to settle for hanging her bold, modern prints all over my home:
and finally two of the happiest, brightest prints ever, which have made their way through several spots in our home now, as I just can't seem to commit their cheeriness to one permanent place.

just read your comment on my blog and had to pop by to personally say thank you. what a lovely comment to get. i was feeling sorry for myself with this damn migraine and it's been hard to be on the computer (my only contact with the world most days) so getting such nice comments as yours always makes my day.
i'm loving all the art you've got at home, especially the two bright ones on the bottom there, they're just burtsting with joy... like your creamy tulip!
and speaking of love - OMG your resin oval necklace, yummy!!! I love that it's big, but still delicate. i have a thing about holes, a big theme in my college work... stones with holes, bellies with holes, fabric with holes...so your resin oval just jumped of the screen yelling LOOK AT ME.
oh i agree. jen's work is fab. i have a print of july in acadia and it reminds me of our maine trip. she is so sweet in person too. such a delight to meet her. xo
well, this was a nice surprise in my bloglines. :)
::i'm waving and thanking you shyly from the corner.:: thank you so, so much susan!!
xo
I really like her art and collages too. What a talented lady :)
P.S. Oh man, if you put her in your pocket, she might cut you with an X-acto knife while making a collage!!! hee hee.
I have seen the swallowfield art back in Maine...just wonderful work! I love the story behind the bright one in your kitchen above the postcards.
And I love those Nat'l Park postcards!
ok, you know i am a fan of jen and her work! she is so talented and i love it all so much.
i think you will be more surprised to know that i have prints of three of those national parks postcards in my home! we love those too!

Those are wonderful bold prints! I can't wait to take a look at even more...

Jen is a talented artist and an amazing person as well. It is so nice to see her beautiful work highlighted here!
