Beautiful Film Week, Day 5

The Proposition, directed by John Hillcoat.
Extremely gritty and graphically violent.
You have been warned. Again.
Full darkness has descended, folks.
Soundtrack by Nick Cave, a personal favorite.

Much thanks to Abby, the gracious host of Beautiful Film Week.

okay I am way out of my league here. I haven't heard of any of the movies that you have talked about. Maybe it's just that I don't do dark movies.

Enjoy your weekend Susan!

This one looks intriguing! I'll add it to my list.
Thanks for the nice blog comments recently - it's so great to know that someone (other than people I know personally) is reading and enjoying! Amy

Oh yeah, Guy Pierce is Australian, I forgot, Oh yeah, and so is Nick Cave, I forgot.
I have to say this one was way under my radar, but given that I love "Hard Boiled," I have no problem with graphic violence.

I have only recently become a fan of Nick Cave. He is wonderful AND my favorite watering hole put his album in the jukebox. I was very excited about it!
