sulu-design, Home and Abroad

I've been anxiously awaiting the time when I could make official announcement, and today I'm so excited to be able say that sulu-design earrings will now be carried overseas - in Molmo, Sweden! Li, the bilingual blogger, designer, and shop owner extraordinaire, has agreed to carry my earrings in her fabulous shop, and I'm giddy with excitement about the arrangement. A box of sulu-design earrings are on their way to her now. And to keep sulu-design fresh here at home, I've updated the etsy shop with many new pieces, including these (click images for links to the direct etsy listings):

Whew! Must tear myself away from the computer...
I'm off now to continue the old job hunt. Here's to a great week, all!

I wish I knew how to say CONGRATULATIONS in Swedish, but if I used an on-line translation service I might end up saying "I like your goat." So to skip the embarrassment I'll just go ahead + say...I LIKE YOUR GOAT!

We do have to get a computer at home!

Was so excited to get to work today and see 3 days of your blogging!

Your sewing looks fine - don't know as I would add anything, even bias tape - but you could make it look like a French seam if you wanted to by pressing the seam up or down (if you have pressed it open) and then just sewing on the outside on top of the seam and then again about a 1/4 inch - 1/2 inch or so apart from that line of stitching if this makes any sense to you!

Everything looks great and congrats on being international!

Love, Mom

Hi, I just happened across your site via design*sponge. It was very cool to read your story because I grew up in Northern Virginia, moved to Cleveland for 4 years, and then moved to Portland 3 years ago. (Unfortunately, never lived in NY.) Also like you, I didn't have a job lined up when I came to PDX. But, keep the faith! You'll find something. It took me about 3 months. Even more ironically/freaky is that I'm a jewelry maker too. But you're WAY ahead of me!! Nice props on design*sponge! And don't let Alberta get you down; it's VERY hit and miss. Anways congrats on all your recent successes, I know with your talent there are many more to come. PLUS, you're in P-town now - the best place ever!
